We had a thing through the door the other day from Royal Mail. Not
enough postage on a letter. It was apparently addressed to a Mr Owner.

We were in Cambridge today, so I went into the office and asked. Much to
my surprise it was a hand-written envelope, so I paid my two quid and
took it.

It's the goddamn (1) Jehovah's Witnesses.

So if you get one address to "householder" or "owner" or somesuch -
don't bother to pick it up.

I think you can look at the outside and decide you don't want it.

I got one of those that was successfully delivered. Very odd to receive
a hand-written envelope that wasn't a birthday/xmas card.

You can't live in a marginal seat which has the Lib Dems as a contender
then.

Indeed I don't.

Otherwise you would be familiar with the "blue letters", often on the
Monday or Tuesday of polling week. :-)

He used to, however, but I don't think he was ever in a target pool.

Now now, GDPR and all that.

As he's not mentioned a date or location (or tier), there's bugger all
personal data there.

Thank you. Yes, I tried to word my post carefully.

If you mean when I lived in Newnham Croft, that's so long ago I don't
think electoral tactics then map well onto 2021.

And it depends what tier, while same bits of East Cambs might be
marginal for District Council elections, the inconsistently named
South-East Cambs Parliamentary constituency is solid blue.

I was thinking of a location between there and where you are now.
